Turkey has received the parts for the Russian S-400 missile defense system defiance to United States strong oppose and Trade cut off. The move may put Ankara’s NATO membership in danger and economic sanctions may lead the country some huge economic loss.
The Defense Ministry of Turkey has confirmed Russian S-400 missile system landed at Military Base of Ankara. The second special parts shipment belonging to Russian S-400 to fly in Ankara coming days and the third bath of delivery likely to arrive by sea carrying various types of 120 anti-aircraft missiles. As per the deal agreement about 20 Turkish operators already trained in Russia during May and June, while few more to visit coming months.
“There are no problems about the deal. We maintain close coordination with Russia in respect to the beginning of S-400 deliveries. The process will continue as it has to,” said Turkey’s foreign minister.
Turkey now have to face expulsion from the F-35 fighter jet program with US along with Pilot training program including, and possible very near economic sanctions hit from the Trump Administration as the State Department had previously set a deadline of July 31 for Turkey to exit the Russian S-400 deal.
